The ResinTech AF-10-3690-BB cartridges use ResinTech® coconut shell granular activated carbon (GAC) in combination with KDF®85 media to significantly extend the life of filter cartridges. KDF® 85 is a bacteriostatic redox media that inhibits the growth of microorganisms in the filter while removing hydrogen sulfide and iron. Sized to fit standard Slimline and Big Bluehousings.
Features:
- Recommended for water supplies where ferrous iron and hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg smell) is present
- KDF 85 Media is for the reduction of iron and hydrogen sulfide from municipal or other water supplies to the rated capacity of a specific filter cartridge. This media also controls scale, bacteria and algae due to its Bacteriostatic properties.
- Filters are mixed with GAC for Chlorine Reduction
